Hiring a Buyer II for a large manufacturing company in Longmont! Will start ASAP
Flexible start time (between 6 am - 8:30 am)
Job Description:
- Reviewing and sourcing on MRP materials.
- Updating internal teams on material status.
- New purchase suggestions, sourcing and negotiation of non-contracted parts.
- Liaison between internal teams, customers, and vendors.
- Understand and forecast material availability.
- Supplier selection / onboarding.
- Cost reduction initiatives, lead time reviews, and special projects and reporting on these items
Qualifications:
- 4 years of supply chain/purchasing experience
- Proficient with Excel - able to use pivot tables and vlook ups
- ERP system experience
- Purchasing, supply chain, ERP, mrp, Epicor
