Industry: Construction (experience in industry needed)
Description: Union and Non-Union Construction Company- Knowledge of QuickBooks for Construction a plus, or other Construction Accounting Software.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Banking Relationships Treasury and Lines of Credit Agreements
- Manage Insurance Relationships for Bonding and General Insurance
- Handle 401K Pension and Profit-Sharing Plan, and other Pension Plans
- Supervise and Manage Union Audits
- Prepare Interim and Year End
- Financial Statements for five Sub S Corporations
- Prepare various report and schedules for weekly financial meetings
- Manage relationship with CPA Firm for preparation of Company and Officers’ Tax Returns.
- Manage relationship with IT Vendor and Phone Vendor- office and cell
- Manage Billings through various Software Packages and Collections through various Websites
- Manage Compliance of Rules for Certified Payrolls for Unions and Prevailing Wage Rates
- Prepare and/or Review Account Reconciliations
- Prepare on going ‘Costs to Complete Analysis on ongoing Projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
· Ability to interpret and analyze financial statements and periodicals
· Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
