Controller
Pay: $100,000K -$130K
Location: Aurora, OR
Length: Permanent / Direct Hire
Looking For:
- 7 years of experience with most recent 3-5 in a leadership-level role managing at least 1-2 direct reports
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred, needs to have basic understanding of cost accounting
- Experience owning the month-end close process (journal entries, reconciliations, financial statement preparation, etc.)
- Financial Analysis experience (budgeting, forecasting)
- Come from a company $50M
- Tier1/2 ERP experience- if they only have QuickBooks, that is a disqualifier
- Excel pivot tables, vlookups
- Experience owning the entire accounting process ideal, this position is the highest ranking in accounting/finance and works alongside the CEO
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all Accounting/Finance functions, including AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Payroll, GL Accounting, and Cost Accounting
- Review GL regularly and adjust quarterly
- Oversee physical inventory to ensure accuracy in company assets, oversee cost accounting and ensure material and labor costs are reasonably accurate
- Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Perform financial analysis including P&L analysis, budgets, and forecasts, making recommendations to maximize company's financial success
- Oversee banking relationships
- Participate in executive team meetings, prepare reports, and review operations
- Oversee tax filings with outside CPA firm
- Attend board meetings as requested and provide support, analysis, and reports to board members
