What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cost Accounting Manager position at Aston Carter?
Description:
Execute the setup, configuration, and testing of accounting rules. Ensure setup is consistent and in line with GAAP and CTOS requirements
Execute the setup and configuration of Legal Entity Rules
Develop approach to system issues or new system process development which do not result in accounting errors, ensure controls requirements are met and provide accurate GAAP accounting application. Configure and test in the ERP system.
Maintain auditable documentation around accounting rule maintenance
Assist Controllers with resolving issues related to accounting rule execution
Execute miscellaneous system implementation projects assigned related to all systems utilized by accounting
