ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sr. Sourcing Business Analyst is responsible for an in-depth analysis to support the development and execution of supplier selection, new Branded product launches, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management. The position is responsible for analyzing data for creating and interpreting reports and supporting the Sourcing team in developing and executing strategies to achieve operational and financial goals, mitigate risk, and improve supplier performance.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
- Build insight from the analysis and provide preliminary findings/recommendations to the sourcing team
- Identify, advise and suggest on items or categories to go out for RFP/RFQ process.
- Troubleshoot root cause of supplier invoice discrepancies (PPV – Purchase Price Variances)
- Validate and monitor cost updates in Great Plain and Rockysoft systems
- Assist in creating and maintaining SOPs
- Provide cost improvement analysis to other departments
- Analyze supplier profile to ensure compliance of agreements on Cost, MOQ’s & Freight
- Analyze and track market and floor prices
- Analyze companies accessing and utilization of costs and contracts.
- Additional duties and responsibilities to be assigned as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Strong Business analytical experience with sourcing, purchasing, financial or sales in a mid to large size organization
- Preferably worked in a distribution or manufacturing environment
- Excellent Business analytical and critical thinking skills
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
- Advanced knowledge with a Reporting Tool such as Power BI or SQL SSRS
- Intermediate SQL understanding.
- Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

Salary : $80,000 - $105,000
