What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cycle Counter position at Aston Carter?
Description:
Looking for a Cycle Counting Clerk. This person will be working with all materials already brought into the facility and cycle counting. Cycle counting is a method of checks and balances by which companies confirm physical inventory counts match their inventory records. Will be doing the process from scratch in an older system (AS400) and then following the process in their new system (JDE). The expectation is to cycle count each month - should be able to get through all of the parts.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVES:
- Minimum 2 years experience in cycle counting
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (any industry)
- Experience working with an ERP system (AS400 preferred but open to any)
- HS Diploma/GED (degree preferred but not required)
NICE TO HAVES:
- College degree
- AS400 experience
