Director of Ops needed for Agriculture Service - Mt. Angel, OR.
Job Description:
- The Director Operations is a liaison with stakeholders to make decisions for operational activities and strategic-goal setting. The Director of Business Operations will lead operational based teams to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Lead, implement and set goals to align with key strategic objectives relating to people, operational processes, and assets. Support and resource operations managers to assure the smooth daily operation of the business.
- Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.
- Develop and analyze production data to determine a proactive continuous improvement plan.
- Assess the effectiveness and accuracy of new data sources and data gathering techniques.
- Use predictive modeling to increase and optimize customer experiences, revenue generation, ad targeting and other business outcomes.
- Develop processes and tools to monitor and analyze model performance and data accuracy.
- Have a strong presence at department-level meetings and provide input as necessary to ensure departments meet organization expectations. Ensure all activity and goal timelines and deadlines are met.
- Act as a main support and resource to those department and division leaders that fall under the supervision of the CEO. Part of this support comes in the form of coaching, guiding and mentoring as week as in the completion of their annual performance reviews. This also involves training new hires and encouraging the documentation of “tribal knowledge.”
- Work closely with Human Resources to develop and integrate staffing programs designed to attract the highest caliber of talent while satisfying the needs of all of partners; both internal and external. Provide programs and assistance to train employees in the latest technical and leadership skills to better serve all of
- our customers; both internal and external thereby promoting a culture of camaraderie and hard work.
- Develop and analyze production data to drive continuous improvement of product handling techniques that enhances our customer value.
- Provide leadership that aligns with mission and core values.
- Implement operational department goals to align with strategic objectives.
- Lead key imperatives, projects, and changes to the business in an inclusive manner.
- Serve stakeholders with efficient and effective process development while managing risk to employees, customers, and the company.
- Develop cross department labor strategies in conjunction with Human Resources Department.
- Develop key metrics that measure the unique performance of key departments.
- Identity and develop high potential staff members.
- Develop operational and capital budgeting process in conjunction with ownership and executive management team.
- Collaborate on strategic planning process.
- Manage critical relationships with customers, vendors, associations as well as, regulatory, and community partners. Also manage relationships with ownership groups, such as CNI and IAP to enhance corporate and personal growth
- Develop and maintain accurate SOP’s to ensure clarity at all levels of our operations.

Salary : $120,000 - $140,000
