Position: Entry Level Accountant - AR
Industry: Distribution
Pay: $20/hr
Location: North Bergen, NJ
One of the largest distributors on the east coast is urgently hiring for their growing team! An ideal candidate must have a bachelors or associates degree in accounting, finance, economics, or business related field and be able to operate in a high-volume fast paced environment.
Candidates must have a minimum of 6 months experience within an accounting related field, preferably accounts receivable.

JOB OVERVIEW:
- Process credit memos & Issue invoices
- Collection on past due payments
- Applying and posting cash payments to correct accounts
- Resolve billing and A/R issues
- Work closely with various departments such as A/R, A/P, Customer Service and Shipping Dept.
- Assist department with other AR related work as needed
