Description:
SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Working with the Estimating Manager, develops cost estimates by gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.
- Identifies labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents
- Computes costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements
- Maintains cost data base by entering and backing up data
- Resolves discrepancies by collecting information and analyzing it with the help of the Estimating Manager.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Ensure timely completion of estimates
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
MUST HAVE:
- 1 years experience in a cost, analyst or estimator role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong attention to detail
NICE TO HAVE:
- Metal finishing/plating experience
- Blueprint reading experience
- Purchase order experience
