Job Description
- In charge of building business model for proposals and new business:
- Create models to simulate and optimize business scenarios and help the team make good business decisions.
- Collaborate with engineering and purchasing departments to develop cost estimates for proposals.
- Recommend price strategy for proposals.
- Help with new business screenings and support the proposal owner with business cases.
- Create and analyze sales, bookings, and pricing reports.
- Support business unit managers and sr leadership with the interpretation of financial results.
- Support Engineering team in tracking and reporting of NRE, Sustaining, and R&D project performance.
- Improve and sustain analytical tools that help in decision making.
- In charge core vendor and customer data management
- Help streamline and digitalize the finance department.
- Perform special projects and assist with other department functions as required.
- Self-motivation and the ability to prioritize work with minimal management oversight.
- A strong work ethic and lots of energy, the ability to think critically and to solve problems.
- Strong understanding of ERP in a manufacturing environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations) and TINA (Truth in Negotiations) is a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of Syteline ERP and business intelligence tools such as Vena is a plus but not required.
- Strong understanding of MRP systems is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills and the analytical skills to extract and interpret data.
- Tremendous organizational skills.
