We are seeking a HRIS Manager to join a recognized manufacturer in the food industry in Chicago, IL!

Highlights:

  • On-site for training, Monday - Friday (potential for 1 remote day after training)
  • Core working hours! Flexible to start at 8:30 or 9 AM
  • Reports to Sr. HR Director - will be the owner of the HRIS system and have autonomy to lead implementations to reach maximum functional capacity in the system

Description:

The HRIS Manager is responsible for HRIS implementation, maintenance and administration. As the HRIS Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) operations for UKG Pro and related models, ensuring data accuracy, process efficiency, and compliance with relevant HR regulations. This position requires strong technical knowledge, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to train the HR team on UKG and other HR systems. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record of at least 5 years in administering UKG Workforce Management and UKG Pro.

Essential functions for the HRIS Manager role include:

HRIS Implementation and Optimization:

  • Lead the implementation of UKG Workforce Management and UKG Pro, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design system configurations, and establish best practices.
  • Manage and maintain companywide HRIS including module implementation post integration.

System Administration:

  • Oversee the day-to-day administration of UKG Workforce Management and UKG Pro, including user access, data integrity, and system updates.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and liaise with vendor support as needed.
  • Provide project and vendor management for any related software changes/upgrades, integrations and implementations.

Data Management:

  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of HR data within the systems.
  • Perform bulk data maintenance for pay rate increases, benefits and deductions as required.
  • Collaborate on annual open enrollment from a benefits update perspective as well as leading any third party EDI integrations required.
  • Manage all aspects of HRIS security.
  • Develop and maintain data governance policies and procedures to uphold data quality standards.

Training and User Adoption:

  • Develop and deliver training programs to end-users and HR staff to maximize system functionality and user proficiency.
  • Foster a culture of continuous learning and engagement with the HRIS platforms.

Reporting and Analytics:

  • Generate and analyze HR metrics and reports to inform decision-making and provide insights into workforce trends.
  • Collaborate with Finance team on payroll administration and reporting.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop customized reports as needed.

HR and Payroll Collaboration:

  • Partners with local HR to ensure accurate and up-to-date Leave of Absence administration.
  • Configure time / attendance and accrual management and record keeping, implementing collective bargaining and other policy requirements into system settings and workflows.
  • Document benefits-related workflow processes.
  • Improve current HR and Payroll functions leveraging the HRIS and other technologies.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5 years of HRIS experience, specifically with UKG Workforce Management and UKG Pro
  • Experience with managing HRIS system
  • Experience leading implementations or upgrades
