What are the responsibilities and job description for the KYC Analyst position at Aston Carter?
Equivalent Experience
Ensure operating efficiency of client life cycle controls within the Second Line of Defense, covering all US business divisions with oversight for: Client Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence
Conduct quality reviews of onboarding submissions including but not limited to: Quality Check of client onboarding documentation for validation of both internal requirements and regulatory requirements
Providing assessment of each client onboarding
Escalate findings when necessary
Manage and assess client and firm risk, by conducting online research and drafting analytical reports for any money-laundering, financial criime, and political risk associated with the bank’s high risk client population
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Equivalent experience of at least 1 year in Compliance/AML, with understanding of controls and project management
Ability to manage multiple assigned responsibilities while meeting key goals
Highly motivated, committed with drive and enthusiasm
Hardworking with ability to work independently and excellent time management
Detailed understanding of operational or financial criime risks
ACAMS Certified a plus
Knowledge of US Customer Due Diligence and Enhanced Due Diligence Practices
Work Environment
The Compliance Analyst role will be responsible for a broad range of Oversight, Control and Program Execution activities across the US Compliance Operations group. The analyst will work with management and report directly to the Oversight, Controls, and Execution Manager in the US/UK regions.
Work Schedule
Hybrid (3 days in 2 days out)
Compensation
$30-$33 per hour
