Description:
The Legal Assistant will assist with the day-to-day administration of family court processing, court calendaring, e-filings, pleadings, and research.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with functions such as record-management, filing, assisting with processing payments, billing, handling front office reception duties, and scheduling meetings.
- Perform basic administrative functions, such as collecting and organizing confidential documents from multiple parties
- Answer the phones, coordinate and schedule meetings, client consults and appointments, assemble packages, record-keeping, and ability to perform time-intensive follow up
- Assist with billing functions such as preparing invoices and credit card processing
- Efficiently manage the court calendar and the filing systems in place
- Assist with administrative functions related to daily operations, as needed
- Work closely with clients and assist with sensitive client needs
