Job Title: Material Planner
Location: Highland Park, MI
Payrate: $59,000 - $75,000 (Based on Experience and Interview Approach)
Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree
Must Have Experience: At least 1 year experience in Production in an Industrial Environment.
· Planner Experience
· Experience using ERP System
· Experience using KPI’s / Knowledge on KPI’s
· Experience with Product Count
Schedule: There are openings for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shift.
All Schedules are Monday-Friday. The position calls for someone who is flexible and willing to occasionally work weekends.

Job Overview:
The role of the Material Planner is to verify that production line delivery aligns with minimum stock targets and logistics costs.
Main Job Duties:
· Build up the Procurement Program by dividing and leveling piece procurements
· Follow up the Procurement Program realization by managing alert systems and follow the unloading, receipt, and transportation of pieces.
· Follow supplier delivery performance (supplier Misdeliveries Per Million) and the service of logistics partners and propose appropriate improvement action plans.
· Achieve the transportation program monthly, and the transportation scheme semi-annually.
· Ensure that logistics conventions comply with purchasing objectives and support conditions set by suppliers for procurement and packaging and by logistics partners for transport and services.
· Verify that Sales and Production Plan (PIC) capacity requirements can be supported by suppliers and implement corrective actions when necessary
