Job Title : Order Entry Specialist
Job Description
Primary responsibilities for this role include computer order entry. This employee will be responsible for uploading future orders into the system.
The day-to-day activities involve order entry in the morning, followed by loading and filing all data into the software.
The role includes ensuring that order entries are converted into live orders. Depending on the day, there will be phone calls with stakeholders or vendors, communication with the operations manager through issues, and documenting each of these interactions accordingly.
The employee will spend most of the day behind a computer entering orders, attending meetings, and handling an average of 5-10 calls per day from stakeholders, vendors, internal partners, suppliers, and clients.
The primary duties include order entry, order fulfillment, data integrity, handling inbound calls / emails from internal stakeholders and vendors, and filing.
Initially, the role will involve a significant amount of data entry and administrative duties during the training period, after which the employee will manage accounts and continue these duties.
The role combines elements of a receptionist / administrative assistant and an order entry clerk.
Hard Skills
- MS Suite experience (1-2 years strong)
- 1-2 years of experience entering orders of some kind (any type of order entry)
- 1 years of experience in customer service role (receptionist / admin / retail)

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in San Antonio, Texas.
Work Environment
Onsite role : in office 100%, M-F 8am-5pm schedule, Position will primarily be in their office space within the warehouse where the Ops Manager sits.
