What are the responsibilities and job description for the Order Entry Representative position at Aston Carter?
Description:
- Enter customer purchase orders daily.
- Sort and arrange sales orders and reconcile totals to daily invoice register.
- Run and attach batch
- Scan and file blueprints
- General filing of invoices, pinks, purchase orders, customer purchase orders, and other correspondence.
- Maintain filing cabinets and archives by moving dated files into boxes and disposing files that are beyond retention periods.
- Invoice orders on a daily basis for parts and products that have shipped.
- Review and reconcile billing for accuracy.
- Provide back up as necessary for others in order entry.
- Operate office equipment, such as postage machines, copiers, phone systems, fax machines, voice mail systems, and use computers for spreadsheet, word processing, and other applications. Troubleshoot problems involving office equipment.
- Go onto customers’ websites to download and update orders.
- Prepare pricing and quotes as required.
- Work with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Outside Sales to meet the customer requirements.
- Develop a working knowledge of materials and labor costs
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
