Largest Hospital in New York is looking for a Patient Access Representative to start immediately!
Location: Various locations through NYC
Job Description:
· Greet guests upon arrival and attend to patients in person and over the phone
· Responsible for registration and scheduling patient appointments
· Handles all check-in and check outs as well as co-pay collection
· Verify insurance prior to visits and handles any patient follow up
· Responds to patient inquiries and ensures patient satisfaction is a priority
· Perform all duties within HIPAA regulations
Additional Qualifications:
· HS Diploma
· 2 years of experience with the healthcare industry
· Working knowledge of EMR systems and HIPAA regulations
· Detail oriented and strong organization and time management skills
· Excellent Customer Service & Communication skills
