What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Coordinator position at Aston Carter?
A event company in Orlando is looking to bring on a payroll professional familiar with processing large batches of payroll (500 employees per cycle).
Description:
•Analyzes, prepares and inputs payroll data into payroll processing system to produce accurate and timely payroll. Contact various department supervisors to resolve any discrepancies.
•Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
•Prepares weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports (gross payroll, hours worked, vacation accrual, tax deductions, benefit deductions, etc.) as requested by management.
•Solves problems concerning payroll, answers inquiries and enforces payroll policies.
•Accurately keys all payroll related data necessary to meet assigned processing schedule.
•Perform other duties as assigned.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
• Computer software, such as word, Excel, outlook and web-based applications.
• Working knowledge of general office machines, such as fax and photocopy machine, PC, telephone and calculator.
• Must possess current knowledge of applicable state and federal wage and hour laws.
• Must maintain current on Payroll systems to achieve alignment with HR benefits and other related and to ensure effective accounting support.
