Job Description
This role ensures that the organization is meeting the customer’s requirements in the service repair/warranty repair of products. Attention to details, strong scheduling aptitude and ability to report results are needed characteristics for this position.
- Work with Production Supervision, Quality and Supply Chain to assure customer repair requirements are to released specifications and completed in a timely manner.
- Tracks all RMA’s from point RMA number is issued to the Units is shipped back to customer, scheduling service department for completion of the Unit.
- Takes information from service reports and completes customer complaint records.
- May be first or second point of contact for customers for issuing RMA number and gathering failure mode data.
- Tracks service repair metrics on turn-around time, first pass yield, Unit and parts failure modes, cost data, etc.
- Report service findings to customers.
- Sends service-related quotes to customers under approved costing methods and review of Account Management.
- Tracks failures and reports trends to customers and internally for possible engineering projects to fix.
- Ensure contractual service KPI’s are met with each customer.
- Reports to Operations Manager
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-3 years' work experience within customer service
- Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office
- Excellent organization, interpersonal and written communication skills with strong customer focus.
- Candidate must be self-driven with the ability to work as part of a team or independently as an individual contributor.
