What you will be doing...
- Perform the general ledger month close process, including data entry of daily revenues and preparation of journal entries
- Perform bank reconciliations and month end account reconciliations
- Reconcile inventory to the sub system and assist locations with year-end physical counts
- Prepare monthly reports for regulatory agencies
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Monitor and analyze financial data to identify trends and provide recommendations for improvement
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Participate in monthly calls to review results with operational leaders
- Prepare and file sales tax returns timely
- Other special projects as assigned by Controller or CFO
What we are looking for...
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax regulations
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with accounting software
