What are the responsibilities and job description for the DIRECTOR OF FRONT OF THE HOUSE OPERATIONS position at Aston Gardens at Pelican Pointe?
We're looking for a manager to run our front of the house operations in a newly remodeled senior living community. We are a very large community that has an upscale casual restaurant, Full service bar along with a ballroom. If you have never considered senior living, there are a bunch of reasons why you should !
*You'll never have a late night at work
*Your days are always predictable as a Saturday is just like a Tuesday that is just Like a Friday. You will always know how many guests you'll have and weather, seasons or tourism will never affect your day.
*You'll never handle cash or credit cards. We don't have a safe on property.
*Our bar is only open for 3 hours a day and all consumption is charged to a bill.
* You'll have two dining room supervisors along with lead servers to preform the day to day tasks.
* You'll work alongside a seasoned Director of Culinary Services and have two Sous chefs that will support you with any needs that may arise.
* The only catering you'll be part of is created in house and for residents only.
What do we expect for this position:
* Train, lead and hold accountable all front of the house staff.
* Schedule and control your Service labor budget.
* Ensure staff are doing the "little things" that bring smiles to faces.
* Coordinate Front of the House needs for all special events.
* Support Director of Culinary Services in meeting or exceeding all department budgets.
* Support a department culture that "always" puts the residents FIRST.
* Working knowledge of hospitality POS systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $51,871.00 - $62,000.00 per year
