Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Training & Operations Subject Matter Expert (SME) to support the Air Operations Center (AOC) program, which is within the USAF Digital Directorate and located at Hanscom AFB, MA.
WORK LOCATION: Hanscom AFB, MA OR Langley AFB, VA
WORK STATUS: Full-time; salaried
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, execute, monitor, provide technical oversight, and report on AOC enterprise integration activities at all levels of the organization.
- Apply process improvement skills to facilitate streamlining delivery using DevOps best practices.
- Support the development of the AOC collaboration tools and processes leading to DevOps implantation.
- Coordinate the collection of interface technical information from 3rd party applications.
- Analyze interfaces between third parties and identify gaps.
- Assist in the development of interface control documents and agreements.
- Analyze test problem reports from AOC and 3rd party test events to determine impact to current AOC system baseline, and recommend potential solutions and mitigation efforts.
- Provide engineering support to evaluate change proposals as well as CDRLs and other program deliverables from the prime contractor/developer.
- Provide technical support to the AOC 3rd party outreach activities, to include on-boarding of applications within the AOC DevOps environment.
- Assist with the development and maintenance of enterprise roadmaps, views, and databases.
- Provide expertise required for interoperability assessments to help 3rd party interfaces migrate towards the AOC's DevOps environment, to include industry best practices.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related engineering discipline and 15 years related experience.
- Network engineering, new technology integration and Scrum Master experience are paramount.
- Cloud computing experience (desired).
- JWICS experince (desired)
- Candidate must have an active US security clearance.
