We are seeking a Contract Administrator to join a public agency in Orange County. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of contract administration, ensuring compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
Location: Fountain Valley
Shift: Part-time 7am-12pm
Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms align with company policies and legal requirements.
- Manage contract lifecycle from initiation through execution, renewal, and closeout.
- Ensure contracts comply with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry standards.
- Maintain accurate and organized contract documentation and records.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with contracts and agreements.
- Prepare reports on contract status, compliance, and performance metrics.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to negotiate terms and resolve disputes.
- Work closely with legal counsel to review contracts and resolve legal issues as they arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Legal Studies, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Contracts Administrator, Contract Manager, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology, and contract management best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
