Job Summary:
The Accounts P/R at Astro Ford will be responsible for managing and processing all payroll and accounts payable transactions for the dealership. This individual will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure accurate and timely payments to employees, vendors, and service providers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in bookkeeping, payroll processing, and a strong attention to detail. This is a individual contributor role, with opportunities for growth within the company.

Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for all dealership employees
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including wages, deductions, and benefits
- Review and approve payroll adjustments, including bonuses, commissions, and overtime pay
- Prepare and file payroll taxes and government reports
- Manage accounts payable transactions, including verifying invoices and issuing payments to vendors
- Reconcile vendor statements to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies
- Maintain organized and accurate financial records
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures related to payroll and accounts payable
- Assist with other duties and projects as needed by the Finance Manager

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, payroll processing, or related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software, knowledge of ADP preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and payroll laws and regulations
