Quality Assurance Test Analyst- HCM Software

Your Contributions

Joining the Quality Assurance testing team, you are responsible for reviewing software and hardware requirements as well as defects on our suite of Human Capital Management (HCM) software products.  Contributing member of a development Scrum team, you create manual and automated test suites, that are robust in coverage and complexity. Collaborating with our client support and sales teams to discover our client’s business needs in the payroll industry.  Using your HCM expertise and Asure client requirements, you report highly detailed defects and create testcases for critical solutions. You are critical in supporting our success, by providing test automation, performance and load testing that informs our data driven, automation first approach to releasing quickly best quality products.

• You will manage the entire testing life cycle:  strategic test planning, building of test cases, execution and reporting of results.
• Identify test cases for updating and adjust based on changes in the application, risk reporting or market conditions.
• Implement automation tools for manual tests to be automated supporting our shift to automation first.
• Work with product development teams on high priority client issues, troubleshooting and triaging challenges that arise.
• Support to develop and document company-wide, software quality and testing best practices, partnering to learn and share across the organization.
• Contribute in scrum ceremonies including the daily stand up, backlog refinement, sprint planning, sprint retrospectives and sprint reviews.

Our technology stack: JavaScript (React, Angular, Node.js, Jest, Cypress), .NET Core/Framework, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and Cloud-based infrastructure using Amazon Web Services (AWS), MS SQL Server

Your Qualifications- what you bring

• Eligible to work in the US without sponsorship, as we are unable to sponsor or transfer Visas at this time.
   
• Critical, analytical, and problem-solving experience with SaaS software products. 
• Some QA or development experience a plus- but not essential for this role.
• A passion for finding bugs and edge cases in complex systems.
• 3- 4+ years of Human capital management (HCM) experience using payroll software and/or human resources software with Asure products (Classic, Web Payroll, Simple Payroll Entry) or other major products such as Paylocity, Paychex, ADP, Isolved, or Gusto.
• Domain experience working in US payroll processing, payroll law, ACH processes, and best practices for managing client payroll.
• COVID related knowledge and experience with PPP impact to payroll processing is helpful.
• Technology savvy with an ability to learn and understand our QA payroll domain.
• Ability to go beyond the status quo.
• Proven experience in staying fresh on changing technology trends and dynamics.
• Data driven to provide product success.
• Experience that makes you a standout candidate:
  • Experience with HR , Time and Labor Management and other Human Capital Management offerings
  • Defect and test case/product management tools such as Zephyr via Jira
  • Test automation experience with TestComplete or Telerik Test Studio
  • Performance testing experience
