The Manager, PM Strategic Analytics fills a key role to help senior management make strategic decisions using data analysis skills and business acumen. This position will support multiple clients and provides tremendous visibility across the company as it requires close work and detailed understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis, Pricing, Customer Care, Underwriting, Legal/Regulatory, and Supply Chain. Within the team, this position will be able to understand the full scope of Asurion’s business within a client. Within the role, the Manager will work on high impact projects to retain and grow Asurion’s partnership with key clients. This includes work in financial modeling, pricing, and strategic defense work which will be used to help senior management make key decisions in shaping the future of the business.
Here’s what you’ll bring to the team:
- Leverage knowledge of Asurion and partner business models to build and maintain detailed economic models and forecasts
- Provide ad hoc analyses to help Asurion senior management make strategic decisions
- Combine business logic, rigorous analysis, and strategic perspective to develop and support strategic pricing initiatives
- Synthesize analysis and present recommendations to senior management
- Leverage experience with Asurion’s product offerings to anticipate and adapt to the changing competitive landscape for our protection products.
- Identify and highlight key strategic considerations surrounding each analysis
- Coordinate the collection of financial and operational information across business units
Who’s a great match for us?
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
- 3-5 years of business experience working in an analytic capacity in fields such as management consulting, risk management, marketing analytics, or financial analysis
- 3-5 years of experience using Excel; must be highly proficient (especially with financial modelling)
- Experience with database modeling, querying, etc. is a plus
- A self-starter who is eager to learn, take ownership of projects, and make an impact
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products required
- Highly self-motivated with a track record of taking ownership
- Experience with strategic pricing is a plus
- Ability to interact with senior management; strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to synthesize information into key messages appropriate for the audience
- High tolerance for ambiguity and an ability to work cooperatively and forge relationships across multiple business units
- Logical and efficient with keen attention to detail
- Effective analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
