DETAILS of the ROLE
This position will be focused on assuring proper inspection of raw materials, sub contracted materials, and metal fabrications. Supporting customer and ISO 9001:2015 requirements throughout all processes, analyzing data to drive process improvements, and providing operations and production support throughout manufacturing processes including receiving inspection.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform dimensional inspections of raw materials, sub contract materials, and production fabrications.
- Perform and process receiving inspections and validate material test reports to required specifications
- Ability to operate a towmotor
- Organize parts and associated paperwork for projects
- Experience with quality systems, ASME, ISO 9001:2015, and military work is a plus.
- Receiving, packing and shipping of various materials
- Pickup and delivery of various products using company vehicle as needed
- Assist Production Team as needed
- Other duties assigned as the business needs change
EDUCATION AND CREDENTIALS
- Experience with Shipping and Receiving
- Experience with welding fabrications and processes
- Experience with measurement equipment such as tape measures, micrometers, calipers, radius gauges, thread gauges, thickness gauges, etc.
- 2 to 5 years direct related experience
