What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounting Clerk position at ATC Automation?
The Accounting Clerk provides a variety of administrative and clerical work for the Accounting Department, assisting with overall accounting functions. The individual will be required to communicate well, demonstrate a commitment to discipline and responsibility and be able to work under the pressure of deadlines.
Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assists in management of accounts payable process including invoice posting, payment creation, reconciliations;
- Review all invoices for proper documentation/approval and coding;
- Assists with setting up jobs/projects
- A/R invoicing
- Process credit cards for pre-authorization and/or payment;
- Reconcile vendor statements to ensure that all the receipts are processed correctly;
- Assists in monthly closings;
- Perform other assigned tasks and duties necessary to support the Accounting Department.
- Sorting & delivering mail daily;
- Providing assistance to other departments as needed;
Minimum Qualifications
- Education
- High School diploma
- Experience
- Strong computer skills including MS Word and Excel with the ability to quickly master new programs.
- Ability to maintain high quality of data entry with minimal input errors
- Experience completing routine 3-way match for supplier invoicing, resolving differences, and following up on supplier payment issues.

- Education or Experience
- High School Diploma
- 1-5 years' experience in related field
- Interpersonal Skills
- Ability to write in a clear and concise manner.
- Other Skills
- Ability to effectively plan and organize.
- Experience completing routine 3-way match for supplier invoicing, resolving differences, and following up on supplier payment issues.
