DSP (Direct Support Professional)

ATC Healthcare is currently seeking Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals with developmental disabilities and/or other specialized needs. As a DSP, you will help individuals live fulfilling lives by promoting independence and supporting them in achieving their goals.

Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including but not limited to bathing, grooming, dressing, and meal preparation.
• Administer medications as prescribed by a physician or nurse.
• Provide transportation to appointments and activities.
• Encourage and assist with participation in recreational and social activities.
• Maintain accurate and complete records of services provided and any incidents that occur.
• Maintain a safe and clean living environment for individuals.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities and/or other specialized needs preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week

• Caregiving: 1 year (Required)
