Client Support Worker β IDD Residential Group Home (Full-time)
Location: Griffin, GA
Salary: $14.40 / Per Hour plus shift differential for nights and weekends
Job Description:
Provide direct care and support to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in a residential group home setting
Implement individual support plans and behavior plans to promote independence, safety, and personal growth for clients
Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting
Administer medications and document appropriately
Ensure a safe and clean living environment for clients
Assist with meal preparation and housekeeping duties
Provide transportation to appointments and community outings
Document client progress and behavior in accordance with policies and procedures
Participate in staff meetings and training as required
Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards clients, families, and co-workers
Required to work every other weekend
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
Experience working with individuals with IDD preferred
Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
