Overview
ATCC is seeking a remote Associate Contracts Specialist for a direct hire opportunity. Background in biological sciences, and experience with commercial contracts preferred.
The Associate Contracts Specialist assists in the intake, negotiations and drafting of commercial contracts, proposals, SOWs and collects contract data. They review contractual documents to ensure adherence to the organization’s policy and maintain knowledge of relevant contractual procedures and practices. They develop strong working relationships by assisting with the execution of contract awards, post award administration and termination of contracts.
Responsibilities
- Contract Drafting & Negotiation: Participate in the preparation and negotiation of agreements, amendments, SOW's, and other agreements as required. Review agreements for conformity to contract requirements, and analyze contract execution risks to the business.
- Contract Lifecycle Management: Management of a contract's life-cycle from inception to completion which includes but not limited to administration of agreements, agreement closeout, negotiation, correspondence, documentation, and reporting.
- Contract Compliance: Review contractual documents to ensure adherence to organizational policies and proceedures while maintaining a high-level of customer satisfaction and responsiveness.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years' experience or equivalent experience.
- Background in biological sciences, and experience with commercial contracts preferred.
