ATCO Frontec is seeking an energized and dynamic Housekeeper to join our Camp Services team near Delta Junctions, AK. The Housekeeper is responsible for ensuring the highest sanitation standards are upheld throughout the Camp.
Responsibilities:
- Ability to clean rooms to company standard and adhere to room inspection requirements
- Wash, sorts, counts, folds and distributes linens and towels, makes beds to company standard.
- Cleans lobbies, lounges, rest rooms, corridors, elevators, and stairways.
- Sweeps, scrubs, mop, and polishes floor.
- Vacuum/cleans rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies.
- Dusts furniture.
- Washes walls, ceiling, and woodwork.
- Washes windows, door panels, and sills.
- Empties wastebaskets and pick up debris and empties trash containers
- Assists in laundry as needed
- Actively involved in ensuring they are following safe and sound procedures and are adhering to government regulations as well as ATCO Frontec Health and Safety, policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
SKILLS:
- The successful candidate will have 1 or more years of housekeeping experience in large hotel/resort style.
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment
- Complete allocated workload during designated shift
- Excellent people skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently supervised or unsupervised
- Team Player
