• Previous experience as a VP Finance, Controller or Accounting Manager preferred

Job Duties:

• Handle the finance function of the organization as we grow from $15mm in Annual Sales to $50mm in Sales organically and through acquisition
• Assist CFO in building out the finance arm of company
• Initially play a very hands on role and later assist with growing the team
• Oversee and manage finance personnel
• Close the books monthly preparing and reviewing journal entries
• Update the monthly financial package for presentation to owners & managers
• Smoothly run all of finance for a rapidly growing multi-state company by coaching, firing, and rehiring key staff members to achieve company goals
• Oversee Accounts Receivable
• Oversee Accounts Payable
• Perform General Ledger functions including reconciliations
• Perform Financial Analysis to facilitate management operations – A strong reporting tool is already in place and fully integrated
• Review and interpret operational reporting by site for managers
• Oversee and track legal cases interfacing with outside attorneys
• Oversee IT initiatives monitoring spend and changes in company needs
• Assist company with filing small-claims collections cases in local courts
• Uphold high ethical and professional standards set by the company
• Interact with customers, vendors, and other leaders to ensure client satisfaction and drive continuous improvement in services
• Assist with acquisition integrations

Position Requirements

• Accounting Degree, CPA preferred
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent judgment, conflict resolution, and problem-solving abilities
• Drive to motivate team and maintain a positive and enthusiastic environment
• Flexibility in adapting to a dynamic environment when required
• Willingness to work extended hours, if necessary, to meet goals
