Job Title: RN- Correctional
Location: Atmore, AL
Duration: 13 Weeks Contract
Duties:
- RNs perform health assessments on incoming inmates to identify existing medical conditions, assess their overall health status, and determine any immediate healthcare needs.
- RNs are responsible for administering medications to inmates according to prescribed schedules. They ensure that medications are taken correctly and monitor for any adverse reactions.
- Many inmates have chronic health conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, or HIV/AIDS. RNs provide ongoing care, educate inmates about managing their conditions, and monitor their health status.
- RNs are trained to respond to medical emergencies within the correctional facility. This includes providing first aid, initiating CPR, and coordinating emergency medical responses until further assistance arrives.
Requirements:
- 1 year of RN- Correctional experience is required.
- RN License - required
- AHA BLS
