POSITION SUMMARY
The Physician Assistant is responsible for promoting health by providing medical services under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and Medical Director.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to teamwork and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: Master's degree required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: Physician Assistant in the State of New Jersey.
CDS, DEA, and Buprenorphine Waiver.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 1 year experience in addiction required. Ability to influence individuals toward desired behaviors and results by applying suitable leadership styles, using interpersonal skills and influencing organizational values and systems.
PERFORMANCE EXPECTATIONS
Demonstrates the technical competencies as established on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Potential for exposure to blood borne pathogens along with infectious diseases. (Refers to Blood Bourne Pathogen requirement).
This position requires repetitive motion, hearing, pushing, reaching, and reading, seeing, speaking, standing and walking a majority of the time. Spends time with such equipment as computer terminal, fax machine, copier, and telephone. Occasional driving also required.

This position reports to department leadership.
