Job Title: Digital FPGA Design Engineer D: Microelectronics
Location: El Segundo, CA 90245
Duration: 6 Months contract
U. S CITIZEN REQUIRED
Shifts: First
Onsite/remote/hybrid: Open to candidates working remotely. Potential travel onsite up to 4x’s a year at their own expenses.
Top 3-5 Must Have Required Skills/Qualifications:
- AMD/Xilinx FPGA Design experience
- VHDL Coding
- FPGA functional block development
- Requirements capture and generation
Preferred Skills/Qualifications:
– >=8 years of relevant experience
– DO-254 experience ( a plus)
Project/Skills:
- Describe the project they will be working on: Compute for military aircraft
- Size of the Team: > 15
- Does the statement of work have any limitations on physical attributes? (Heavy lifting, long hours on feet, confined spaces, harnesses that have certain weight limits, etc.) NO
- FOR LI – will they be operating any machinery? If so, what kind? NO
- Type of background you are looking for (education, # yrs experience, etc.):BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineeing, >=8 years of experience
- Software skills required: VHDL, Verilog, Vivado, Linux
- Any certifications required: No
Education / Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master 3 years' related work experience).
- In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
