Purpose: Athene is looking to hire a dynamic Director of Agency Services to lead our Agency Services department! The managers you will lead manage the teams that handle inbound calls, inbound emails, producer onboarding, Commissions, Controls and Quality Monitoring. This position will work closely with both Sales and Operations management to onboard new producers/firms, resolve escalations, provide service to our producers/firms, help identify and drive operational improvements and represent Operations on critical projects. Accountabilities: Provide guidance and support for managers in the development of their teams through People Centric leadership. Identify needs and define the support model for Agency Services. Play a key role on department and enterprise projects that impact Agency Services. Prepares annual budget, monitors monthly results and QF reforecast process and manages expenses to meet company goals. Represent Agency Services with industry groups and supported firms in partnership with our Business Relationship Managers. Develops and leads a team of professionals by establishing strategic direction, hiring and retaining qualified professional staff, establishing and managing performance expectations, and driving results. Develop and maintain key relationships across the company. Qualifications and Experience: 7 years or relevant industry experience, including 2 years of formal leadership experience. Experience and knowledge of licensing, appointments, producer training and industry practices Experience implementing complex projects Experience using Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Access, Visio, Project, PowerPoint, etc.) Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. Salary : $121,000 - $153,000
