Purpose: The Project Analyst improves the efficiency and effectiveness of the EPMO program and project management function by providing technical, analytical, and administrative support to Program/Project Managers. This role also focuses on analysis, maintenance and reporting of the project data elements (baselines, costs, resources, etc.). Accountabilities: Maintains project financials. Produces high-quality output with little review needed by Program/Project Manager. Provides accurate standard and ad hoc reporting to Program/Project Managers regarding the financial, resource or schedule of the project. Records and issues meeting agendas and minutes, demonstrating a strong awareness, and understanding of the project. Takes initiative to troubleshoot discrepancies by working with the Program/Project Managers. Administers project team-sites or other tools according to EPMO guidelines. Analyzes and makes recommendations to Program/Project Managers regarding budget issues. Assists the Program/Project Managers with completing PMLC and SDLC controls and processes. Assists the Project Manager with project variances, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and resource conflicts. Assists with maintenance of project issues, risk logs and action items. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent of education and work experience. 4 years' experience in IT project analysis. Proficient in developing reports and views of project status information within enterprise portfolio management systems. Understanding of basic financial and budget management. Experience with MS products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience with project and resource management and estimating systems.
