About the Role

In this role, you are accountable for supporting the ideation, development, implementation and execution of the Gap Inc production and vendor capability strategy, delivering value through effectively balancing innovation, quality, and cost. You will be able to operate in a highly matrixed global organization, forming part of the cross functional product team (Design, Merchandising, Tech Design, Quality Assurance, Sustainability, Fabric Research and Development and Global Sourcing). You will be able to execute with strong attention to detail to ensure the product pipeline meets key milestones to meet product to market (P2M) demands.

What You'll Do

  • Effectively present a clear point of view supported by data and insights to foster trust, gaining alignment of cross-functional partners to drive better outcomes.
  • Develop product to align back to brand product roadmap from line plan assortment strategy to commercialization.
  • Value engineering identify costing opportunities to deliver best values to our customers while meeting design intent.
  • Supplier relationship management with athleta sourcing development teams.
  • Manage development timelines for on time buy readiness for on time deliveries.

  • Collaborative working closely with cross functional partners including design, tech design, merchants, materials and vendors.
  • Innovative and customer curious with focus to anticipate what customer likes and dislikes in providing product options.
