Athletes Unlimited is a new model of pro sports where athletes are decision-makers and individual players are champions of team sports. We literally change the game with faster play, and a new draft and team rosters every week, delivering next-level competition and engagement in which every moment counts. With women’s softball, volleyball and lacrosse as part of the roster and with basketball to launch in 2022, Athletes Unlimited will build the next generation of both athletes and fans.
Athletes Unlimited is looking for a talented, Las Vegas-based video shooter with excellent storytelling and time management skills to join our Content Team during the Athletes Unlimited 2022 Basketball Season. The time commitment will be our game days (Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays) from Jan. 26th to Feb. 26th. The ideal candidate must be knowledgeable and passionate about basketball. They will also be driven, creative and enthusiastic to join a team that values collaboration and the determination it takes to work at a high level.
Responsibilities
- Film live basketball games courtside both independently and as part of a larger production team
- Organize & archive video files and related assets
- Work in-market (Las Vegas) for 5 weeks with the Athletes Unlimited Content Team
Qualifications
- 3 years' experience in digital content creation with a preference for sports or lifestyle and brand content
- Experienced with Canon and Sony mirrorless & cinema cameras.
- Reel that demonstrates both sports and/or lifestyle content
- Familiar with Athletes Unlimited’s sports, basketball in particular
- Must be able to work independently, make editorial decisions without producer present
- Experienced in a fast-paced environment and be able to work under pressure
- Effective time management; organizational skills and detail-oriented
- Team-player who can also work independently but also thrives in a team environment
