Production Control Assistant -Part time

The ideal candidate: has previous experience working in a manufacturing environment, working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) , ERP systems, reconciling inventory, receiving, issuing material, running shipping reports, and preparing work orders and must have excellent attention to detail.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES include the following; others may be assigned.

• Closes work orders, including issue material, stock material and closing of work order.
• Runs shipping reports
• Assist Production Coordinator and Scheduling Manager in job creation using ERP software and preparing work orders for production.
• Adjusts inventory upon receipt of Inventory Add Remove Sheet.
• Run shipment reports – review and expedite as needed.
• Assist/Coordinate expedite customer requests, updates paperwork accordingly.
• Properly document and perform all inventory location adjustments.
• Files and controls all completed work orders.
• Assist in updating system for accurate production reporting
• Check status of work orders in progress and follows up on any issues.

CERTIFICATION, EDUCATION EXPERIENCE:

Minimum: High school diploma or equivalent; two plus years administrative and/or production experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred: ERP system experience; and experience in a production/manufacturing environment a plus.

Other/technical Skills: Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) and ability to operate a computer and basic office equipment.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
