ATI is hiring for a positive, focused, safety minded Maintenance Supervisor to join ATI's Specialty Alloys and Components team in Albany, Oregon. This is a day shift position working Monday – Friday with occasional overtime. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will lead a diverse maintenance team of 10-20 highly skilled professionals responsible for effectively maintaining critical production equipment by identifying and troubleshooting issues, performing preventative maintenance, and assuring area electrical equipment, facilities, and utilities are optimally maintained for efficient, continuous, reliable and uninterrupted operation in-order-to meet production goals and objectives.
The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for effectively maintaining critical production equipment by supervising activities of a crew of journeyman craft employees. A successful Maintenance Supervisor is a thought leader, problem-solver, and is results oriented. In order to provide immediate impact, you will have to quickly build trust with the Maintenance Team, learn our manufacturing equipment and processes, our maintenance program, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including production, operations, engineering and quality, among others.
Additional Responsibilities
- Manage concurrent maintenance activities in order to maintain industrial manufacturing equipment and facilities on a 7-day/week, 24-hour basis.
- Manage daily shift schedule to complete preventive maintenance activities and prioritize break-in work according to established critical equipment list.
- Procure parts, supplies, and services used in day-to-day maintenance activities.
- Perform data recording for equipment downtime, failure analysis and fleet management.
- Perform administrative duties such as time and attendance, lead daily crew start-up meetings, safety trainings and conduct behavior-based safety observations.
- Provide disciplinary and corrective action plans for employees as necessary.
- Ensure all supervised employees meet annual safety training requirements, continuing education for licensing, and adhere to all government regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
- Manage special projects as directed.
- Develop, educate, and guide crew in proper maintenance direction.
- Work with supervised employees to create a team environment.
- Develop training plans to improve employee skills.
- Create or modify drawings and other documentation for use in maintaining equipment.
