ATI is currently looking for a Production Planner to join our Irvine, CA location. A successful Production Planner will develop, improve, and manage the production scheduling operation from demand analysis, raw material purchase to shipment delivery. The Production Planner will ensure adequate manufacturing capacity will be available for future demand, monitor shop loading, and provide a feedback loop to management to ensure adequate resources are being allocated.
Essential Functions:
* The pay for this position is $80,000 - $95,000 annually
* Manage forward looking analysis of customer demand and available manufacturing capacity to identify future gaps in capacity or bottlenecks and resolve constraints together with operations leadership.
* Develop and manage MRP system and tool to manage and provide reports and communicate recommendations to management regarding production status and how to better utilize available capacity.
* Coordinate overall flow of product through facility by coordinating with supervisors of each manufacturing work center by providing production schedule or priority lists.
* Monitor WIP and Finish goods inventories and utilize C/I tools to drive reductions in inventory and increase inventory turns.
* Coordinates NPI process
* Maintain master parts list by coordinating with engineering to capture any drawing revisions in both production and development programs.
* Manage and update customer requirements in MRP system.
* Monitor capacity utilization in real time.
* Coordinate with procurement function to ensure optimization of raw material delivery.
* Develop and execute value stream management process and discrete C/I projects that issue from the VSM process.
* Execute continuous improvement projects.
* Other tasks as assigned by Supervisor
Basic Requirements
* An Associate's degree in Supply Chain/Logistics or related field
* 2 years of experience working in a Production Planner function
Preferred Qualification
* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
* 2 years of capacity analysis experience
* CPIM
* 2 of experience using an ERP/MRP systems
