What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychometrist position at Atlanta Autism Center?
Atlanta Autism Center has an opening for the position of Psychometrist. The Psychometrist will perform autism testing for children ages 18 months to 6 years, utilizing various modalities, including ADOS-2, ADI-R, Vineland and SRS, and collaborate with a team of professionals at Atlanta Autism Center including a pediatrician, psychometrist, speech therapist, occupational therapist and a board-certified behavioral analyst.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Administer and score psychological tests for children and adolescents age 18 months to 6 years.
2. Score tests administered.
3. Provide a written summary of the patient’s behavior during testing, including an interactions with the patient’s parents or peers that may be observed incidentally.
4. Attend training conferences offered by Atlanta Autism Center.
5. Participate in establishing job requirements and goals; perform duties at the desired level of competency.
6. Review and ensure timeliness, accuracy, and availability and security of information.
7. Comply with Infection Control and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.
