Audit Coordinator

We are hiring an Audit Coordinator to join our growing team at Atlantic Federal Credit Union! Atlantic serves over 49,000 members, with a mission to improve their financial quality of life and taking an active role within our communities.

Our Audit Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating all audits, reviews, and regulatory exams conducted by external third parties.

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all audits, reviews, and regulatory exams, including distributing and managing request lists, meeting with auditors/examiners as needed, preparing meeting materials, scheduling meetings, distributing reports
• Maintain audit finding module to track audit findings, monitor progress, and report results
• Prepare Supervisory Committee meeting materials
• Perform audit procedures at the direction of management including, but not limited to, account and activity monitoring, review of quarterly branch control functions, and research and investigation.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with Credit Union staff and officials at all organizational levels

Requirements

• One to three years of similar or related experience
• A two-year college degree, or completion of a specialized certification or licensing
• Proficiency in Microsoft suite of products, including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint preferable
• Ability and willingness to learn new systems and programs
• Strong attention to detail
• Maintain high level of confidentiality in all matters, at all times
