Job Overview - Senior Accountant:
Join our client's company and assume a crucial role as a Senior Accountant, responsible for providing expert financial analysis, forecasting, and strategic insights to drive informed decision-making.
Compensation: $75,000.00 - $95,000.00 bonus
Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant include:
- Financial analysis and illuminate KPIs
- Developing precise financial models and forecasts for budgeting, planning, and reviews
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize finances and enhance revenue
- Creating customized financial reports, presentations, and dashboards
- Proactively monitoring financial performance, identifying trends, and proposing improvements
- Assisting in budget preparation, conducting variance analysis, and generating performance reports
- Evaluating investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and providing financial justifications
- Contributing to improving financial processes, systems, and controls
- Staying updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes
- Participating in special projects and initiatives as assigned by management
Qualifications for the Senior Accountant include:
- A bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- Proven experience in financial analysis or a similar finance role
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting
- In-depth knowledge of financial principles, budgeting, and cost management
- Proficiency in financial analysis tools and advanced MS Excel skills
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to analyze complex financial data
- Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
