What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Analyst position at Atlantic Medical Management?
Atlantic Medical Management is looking for an experience finance analyst to join our accounting department! AMM is a corporate medical management firm that is dedicated to improving patient care. The finance analyst responsibilities include maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, assisting with month-end close processes, and maintaining accounts payable/receivable documentation. This is an onsite position in Jacksonville, NC and will report to the Director of Finance.
Bookkeeping Responsibilities:
- Maintaining financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
- Preparing journal entries, analyses, and account reconciliations and assisting with monthly close processes.
- Performing monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Meeting processing and reporting deadlines.
- Responding to information requests, reviewing financial statements, and assisting with client requests for worker's compensation audits.
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP.
- Assisting the CPA as needed.
- Administrative duties as needed.
- Must have excellent customer service skills, be organized, and be a team-player!
Education and Experience:
- Acumatica experience required.
- Strong accounting experience and knowledge of debits and credits.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- 2 years of accounting experience.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Working knowledge of GAAP.
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
- Good problem-solving and time management skills.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
