Business Systems Analyst - RTH

Our direct client is seeking 2 Business Systems Analysts for a 12-month contract-to-hire opportunity with their Newark, NJ location.

Job Description:

The team is looking for a BSA that is energized to work within a team to bring the best solutions to ultimately help our end clients have a great experience with the company. As the ideal candidate you have experience communicating, analyzing and coming up with solutions for those clients.

In this role you will:

Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions

Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies

Staying up-to-date on the latest process and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems

Continuous upskilling of user platforms to support and in some cases administer updates within the system (configuration, tables, administration)

Conducting meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings

Performing requirements analysis

Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts

Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management

Performing user acceptance testing

Working closely with the Product Owner ensuring the team is focused on the right priorities

Creating and developing user stories and maintaining the backlog

Managing competing priorities

Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects

Developing proficient to advanced skills with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and AGILE tools (JIRA, MIRO)

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working in an AGILE environment

Experience with AGILE tool

BA/BS in CS, Information Systems or Information management or Systems design

Life and Disability experience

Group Insurance experience a plus

Knowledge of SQL, Databases and Analytical/Reporting tools such as PowerBI/Tableau a plus
