Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Review and validate scripts to ensure accuracy and minimize business impact.
  • Work with Amazon Redshift.
  • Work with SQL Server
  • Work with MySQL / Postgres
  • Work with AWS Athena
  • Navigate a Linux environment effectively.
  • Perform daily script monitoring.
  • Address user-reported performance issues
  • Conduct research and resolution for issues when unable to identify the problem.
  • Follow an approval process for all changes made in the production environment.
  • Collaborate with QA for changes in the QA environment.
  • Resolve issues with Oracle Golden Gate
  • Work with Development on Data Model
  • Work with GoAnywhere to resolve file transfer issues
  • Work with SAS Environment
  • Populate Dev/QA environment as necessary.
  • Informatica migrations
  • Load data into SAS Visual Analytics

 

Skill Set/ Hours


kill Set:

  • Oracle Experience is mandatory (Install Client, Tuning and Performance, Oracle Partitioning, Troubleshooting, and PL/SQL)
  • Oracle Golden Gate
  • Unix Environment
  • Other database experience (Nice to Have)
    • SQL Server
    • MySQL
    • Postgres
  • SAS Experience (Nice to Have)
    • SAS Office Analytics
    • SAS Visual Analytics
    • SAS Viya
  • Java (Nice to Have)
  • Python (Nice to Have)

 

Hours:

May need to be available some weekends to minimize business impact for production issues, patching and installs
