AOG Controller is responsible for providing Critical Materials Support 24/7 for Atlas Air and under contract, Polar Air Cargo.
Responsibilities
- Provide real time solutions for all Material Requisitions including but not limited to Aircraft On Ground (AOG), Line Maintenance, Aircraft Fly Away Kit (FAK) Replenishment, Aircraft Check Support
- Ensure all requisitions are fulfilled within 4 hours
- Ensure all transactions in TRAX are completed for loans, borrows and other AOG functions
- Updates Aircraft Maintenance Deferrals with accurate and updated information pertinent to Material Support and Repairs Information.
- Track and plan for critical parts, including grounding items, inventory that is below allocation and DMI requirements.
- Liaises with Maintenance Control Center and Line Stations to provide timely and Accurate Handling of Material Request.
- Managing Vendor Agreements understand and enforce contractual terms.
- Responsible for His / Hers Invoice Approval and Review
- Review Aircraft listings and General Guide Lines for Managed Aircrafts
- Perform additional duties assigned by Manager or Director as required.
- Creates an environment that encourages teamwork by informing management of unique or difficult situations.
Qualifications
- BS/BA or equivalent in a business or engineering related field required
- 1 year procurement/procurement planning experience or combined preferred
- 1 year of AOG experience within Airline industry or Military Equivalent preferred
- Airline or Military Aviation experience is a plus
Special Demands:
- Must be able to work nights, weekends and off site locations on temporary or permanent basis as needs of business dictates.
Skills:
- Strong decision making and problem solving skills
- Able to work in a fast pace environment
- Excellent communication skills
